| any idea why when the diff is not bolted in it has no play, but once I bolt it in it has like 1/2" of play clunk? Did yours do that too? That's the reason I changed my first diff (clunk) put it in one with 60K miles that had 0 play, once I bolted it in it was the same thing :/
